Meet adoptable super handsome, super sweet Albert!!! Albert is 10 years old and about 11 lbs, ie PERFECT!! He loves being with his human most of all and he bonds almost instantly! He would prefer an adopter that is home most of the time because he gets anxious when he’s left alone. Luckily he’s also a great traveler, so you can just take him with you!! He gets along fine with other dogs, but doesn’t necessarily need a dog sibling. He has 5 foster siblings and only plays with one and only on occasion. He’ll sleep in a dog bed, but would MUCH prefer to sleep under the covers with his human. Albert adores tummy tickles, basking in the sunshine, and just cuddling in your lap!! He’s great on a leash though sometimes needs encouragement if you want to go in a different direction than he does.
Albert has been recently vetted, had a deluxe senior workup and has been declared in excellent health! He’s current on his vaccinations and microchipped. He is blind in one eye from an old injury, but it doesn’t bother him at all. He came to us toothless so NO DENTALS!!! Talk about a bonus with a senior!!! And no, he doesn’t need to be fed canned food. He eats a good, senior kibble after it’s soaked for a few minutes.
