Rocky is a 2 year old black and tan short hair purebred Dachshund. He weighs 17 pounds, and is the perfect weight. He is the quintessential dachshund…you should see his “side eye” and doxie expressionsYoung Rocky needs someone that is home most of the time to keep his potty schedule regular.
He is still in that oral stage and chew on anything you drop. He needs to be kept away from toliet paper, pee pads, dog beds bc if he’s bored he will tear them up. Regular WALKIES and park time really help with preventing this kind of mischief, getting out his young dog energy. He was not been able to get many walks where he was before.
Rocky is a love. Wags his tails, smiles, and loves attention. Favorite spot is right next to you on the sofa. He is a typical doxie and thinks he’s your security guard and will bark when he hears random noises outside. His barking could present a problem in condos/apartments. No cats, but he gets along great with other dogs. He really wants another doggy companion to play with. Older considerate children okay.
He would like to sleep in bed with his owners if possible.
