Harold aka “Harry” is ready for his forever home! Harry is a approximately 12 lb. mini dachshund (possibly a mix) who is 7 years or and, other than the two bad teeth that had to be removed during his dental recently, he is perfectly healthy.
Harry is a little velcro dog at first, but then he gets confident and wants to explore. He has a tendancy to chase cats sometimes, but otherwise is good with cats. He is great with other dogs and loves, just loves, to jump on his human when they get home.
Harry can be vocal at times, so his ideal placement would be a home that has space away from neighbors (no apartments). He loves exploring the yard and chasing the chickens at his foster’s home, so he should have a yard at his new home. He has had some pee accidents, but is getting much better. Someone with a doggy door is ideal, or someone that is willing to continue to work with Harry on this issue.
Respectful children are ok, but not sure about younger children. Harry is a lovely dog and excited to find his forever home!
